FSL683 Screenflex Room Divider 6’8″H X 5’9”L

The FSL683 Screenflex Room Divider is a free-standing portable partition which consists of a series of sound absorbing, tackable panels constructed as shown below:
Each panel is solidly joined in series to the other from top to bottom with anodized aluminum piano hinges. Two screws are used every four inches. Each panel istrimmed both on the top and bottom with 18 gauge metal trim. Certain panels within the divider are equipped with metal legs. Two, self-leveling zinc ball bearing casters with non-marking hard rubber wheels are affixed to each leg. The 11 gauge metal end frames are narrow at the top and wide at the bottom. With the greatest width and weight at the base where it belongs, this design provides maximum stability to the divider and maximum vision when moving it. The corner casters on these end frames are both self-leveling and lockable. All metal parts arepowder painted black to accent any décor. The two end panels are inserted into the two end frames to create an incredibly strong connection. To connect the two end panels to the two endframes, the following technology is used at this critical connection:

1. The panel is inserted deep into the “U channel” of the end frame.
2. The panel is then connected to the end frame by screwing the two members together from BOTH DIRECTIONS creating an amazingly strong connection at the point which gets the most“stress” on any portable room divider.
3. We’re not done yet. We then affix a steel gusset plate connecting the end panels to the end members yet again making an already incredibly strong connection even stronger.

The positioning of this portable wall is maintained by a custom made spring loaded position control device at the apex of each hinge. When folded for storage the panels only take about as

much space as an office chair and are held securely in place with a custom made storage latch. Multiple dividers can be nested to save even more space.
